Does your service provide alcohol and glassware ?

No, the host is responsible for any alcohol and glassware, although we can offer consultation services to ensure proper volume and variety. We will provide basic plasticware cups and everything else needed for any event. The host is welcome to provide their own glassware, we are happy to accommodate.

What extras can the Bar Car provide ?

In short, a one of a kind experience. The bar car is just the vessel, our bartenders are the show. No matter what the occasion, we will always bring it! In addition, we also provide the ice, mixers for cocktails, plastic cups, garnishes, napkins, straws, tinctures, and a full set of bar tools. What size space is needed to host the Bar Car ?

The Bar Car is relatively compact and will fit in most 8ft x 12ft spaces, at the highest point, the trailer is 8ft tall.

Do you need access to a power outlet ?

No, the Bar Car runs on a super quiet gas-run generator, perfect for remote areas and large backyards. If you have power hookups and prefer to not to have the generator on site, we’re happy to accommodate.

Where are your service areas ?

We are San Diego based, however we can service most of Southern California and beyond. No charge for the first 45 miles, then $4/mile for additional travel to cover gas and travel time. For special events and occasions out of our service area (i.e: Central & Northern California, Arizona, Nevada, Mexico), our custom package is specifically designed to accommodate such requests.

Are you licensed? Certified ? Insured?

Yes, we are licensed to work in the State of California, SequoiaBarCarLLC is fully compliant with all ABC guidelines. Our professionally trained bartenders are all LEAD and ServeSafe certified. We follow strict protocols in reference to serving and over-intoxication to provide the best possible experience for our clients and reduce exposure to increased liability for homeowners and venues. We also carry a $3,000,000 general liability & liquor liability insurance policy, we’d be happy to provide proof for any venue if needed..

What permits are required for my event ?

Any permits needed are the responsibility of the host or venue, but in general events held on private property are not subject to any permitting.

What is your payment & cancellation policy ?

The Sequoia Bar Car accepts cash and credit/debit cards through Venmo, Square and Stripe. Payments made with a card will be subject to a 3% processing fee. We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining 50% will be due no later than 24 hours prior to the event date. In the unlikely event a reservation needs to be cancelled for any reason, the deposit is only refundable if the booking is canceled at least 90 days before the day of the reservation OR the Bar Car is able to secure another event for that date, contact us for more details. In the event of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate if you wish to reschedule.
